A BRITISH father has died while snorkelling on vacation with his wife and daughter in the Caribbean.

The man arrived in St Kitts alongside his family onboard the P&O cruise ship Britannia on Monday.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine if his cause of death was natural or caused by drowning.

They were on a 14-day cruise from Barbados to Southampton.

Earlier this month, a British grandfather died in a horror snorkelling accident while on vacation with his wife.

Gareth Weekes, 77, was on a sailing trip in St Vincent and the Grenadines when the tragedy happened.
