A horror home that has been labelled "Britain's filthiest home" has somehow sold for £115k over the asking price.
An incredible bidding war saw the price of the Whitnash Grove, Coventry-based property increase from £60,000 to a stunning £175,000 sale.
Estate agents had put the home up for £60k and admitted the three-bedroom terraced house was in need of a "full refurbishment and modernisation".

It was also in need of a clear out as grim property pictures showed the horror inside the home, with smashed walls, rotting rubbish and a plentiful amount of holes in the ceiling and walls.
But a mystery buyer who has dropped £175,000 on the property may turn a profit yet after the sale at Loveitts Auctioneers brought out a bidding war for "Britain's filthiest home".
Average house prices in the area have been charted as £181,000, although their interiors are likely in better condition than the smashed-up bathrooms and rubbish-piled rooms of this recent sale.
Two rooms and a tiny kitchen make up the ground floor, while three double bedrooms and a bathroom are found on the first floor.
Auction house director Sally Smith said of the Loveitts sale: "I don’t know who bought the property but I’m assuming they are an investor who will completely clear it out and refurbish it.
Five aspects of Nicola Bulley's disappearance that have left search experts baffled
"We had expected it to go for a good price as the property had had some pre-auction offers but they were no where near what the house sold for in the end and we were all very surprised by the final price.
"It will definitely make a great house for a family or renters when it is all refurbished and there is a lot of potential."
Those who caught wind of the property sale on social media were less than impressed though, with one Facebook user writing: "So much for the cost of living crisis when Britain’s filthiest home sells for close on three times the sale price."
Another fumed: "Whoever bought it will probably just rent out as it is for a grand a month and get it too! Rents are just crazy at the moment, even in a s***hole like Cov."
