Watch out, Britney. The conservators are coming for you.

People connected to the team that makes up Britney Spears’ conservatorship aren’t taking the pop star’s recent accusations of abuse lying down.

Sources told TMZ that several people involved in her conservatorship dispute much of what she said in her now-infamous speech to an LA Superior Court judge last month.

The conservators specifically dispute Spears’ claims that she was bullied into going on her 2018 European tour.

“My management said if I don’t do this tour, I will have to find an attorney and by contract, their own management could sue me if I didn’t follow through with a tour. He handed me a sheet of paper as I got off the stage in Vegas and said I had to sign it,” Spears told the judge. “It was very threatening and scary. I couldn’t even get my own attorney, so out of fear, I went ahead and did the tour.”

People connected with the conservatorship say that isn’t true. They told TMZ that Britney “begged” them to do a European tour but then once it started she got bored and tried to end it early. They say they have the text messages to prove their claims.

The conservatorship sources also say Britney’s claim that she was forced to sign a contact committing to the European tour is untrue. They said she was asked to sign and she did, willingly.

TMZ reported that various people in the conservatorship will also hit back at Spears’ claims about being prevented from getting married, having a baby and seeing her kids.
