Brits can get 48 DAYS OFF in 2023 with holiday hack that uses just 19 days annual leave | The Sun

BRITS can get a whopping 48 days off next year with a holiday hack that uses just 19 days.

It has today been revealed that the country will get an extra Bank Holiday in 2023 to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles.

That means there will be a total of NINE bonus days off next year.

And, if you use your annual leave wisely, you could more than double the number of days out of work with a cheeky trick.

Here are the exact dates you should take off to get 48 days off next year.

Your first decent break of the year – after getting the New Year's Day Bank Holiday in January – could fall at the beginning of April.

There will now be three bonus days off in May next year – including the celebration of the ancient ceremony.

The month's traditional Bank Holidays will fall on May 1 and 29, and the Coronation Bank Holiday on May 8 – two days after the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

To get 10 days off at the beginning of the month take off May 2-5.

And, if you'd like to finish the month with a holiday – to celebrate the beginning of summer – apply for leave between May 30-June 2 for another nine days off.

You could pocket ANOTHER nine-day break at the end of August, as the summer Bank Holiday falls on the 28th.

Apply for leave between August 29-September 1 for that getaway.

And, if you'd like to finish the year strong (or with a 10-day rest) apply for December 27-29 off – as the Christmas and Boxing Day Bank Holidays fall on their respective dates during the week.

We also had nine bonus days off this year, as the day of the Queen's state funeral was confirmed as a Bank Holiday.
