Chilling details emerge about shocking 'love triangle murder' after man's remains found in a tote bag on a rural road | The Sun

CHILLING details have emerged in the alleged love triangle murder of a man whose remains were found in a tote bag on a rural road.

David Aguayo, 26, was discovered dead near the Duwamish River in Skyway, Washington on June 20.

Police on Monday charged Kyle McCullough, 28, with second-degree murder, accusing him of shooting and stabbing the victim to death.

That came after McCullough found out his girlfriend was having an affair with Aguayo, according to prosecutors.

He is accused of sending threatening messages to his love rival after finding out about the affair on the morning Aguayo was killed.

Aguayo’s sister found her brother's body and called 911, The Seattle Times reports.

He had been shot twice and stabbed at least 12 times, according to charging documents.

Police say there was evidence of an attempt to clean up a bloody scene.

A knife and bloody clothing were also found at McCullough’s home, according to law enforcement.

McCullough will be arraigned on July 11.

The Sun has contacted Des Moines police  for comment.

It comes just as police continue to hunt for fugitive yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong, who is accused of gunning down her cyclist love rival in a jealous rage.

Armstrong, 34, has been missing since May 14 having last been seen in New York City days after being quizzed by cops over the shooting death of 25-year-old Moriah "Mo" Wilson in Austin, Texas.

The warrant affidavit says there was a possible romantic triangle involving Armstrong, Wilson and Colin Strickland, another professional cyclist who had been Armstrong’s longtime boyfriend.
