This is the shocking moment a Chinese scooter rider drove along a street dragging a woman behind him after row over a road crash.

The footage was filmed by a shocked motorist in the city of Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, southern China, on December 11.

It shows a man riding along a road while dragging a woman from the back of his scooter.

The video was filmed in the city of Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on December 11

Other cars crossing the bridge can be heard horning the man driving the moped. 

The person recording says: ‘Catch the rider. Stop the scooter. She’s going to die. Call the police!’

The man can then be seen driving away without the woman. 

According to reports, the scooter rider named Zhao had an argument with a woman called Zhou after a traffic accident.

Zhou grabbed Zhao’s bag and refused to let him go. 

Zhao was forced to drive away, dragging Zhou at the back of his scooter for dozens of metres. 

Zhou’s clothes were damaged and she suffered minor injuries. 

Zhao surrendered himself to the police station at night due to pressure. He was detained for ten days and fined 200 yuan (£24).
