Death threats for Wayne Rooney hotel girls

Death threats for Wayne Rooney hotel girls: Trio ‘keep a low profile after being petrified by response after they were pictured with ex-England footballer’

  • Photos of the girls posing semi-naked with the Derby boss were widely shared
  • The trio apologised to Rooney shortly after, admitting they got ‘carried away’
  • Sources close to the girls now says they’ve been left ‘petrified’ by death threats

Three party girls who posed semi-naked in a hotel room with Wayne Rooney are trying to keep a low profile having received death threats.

The trio apologised to the former England captain and Derby County boss after the images were widely shared last month, having admitted they got ‘carried away’.

Now sources close to the girls has admitted they have been left shaken by the response in recent days.

Rooney, a married father-of-four, paid a ‘nominal’ £1 fee so that he owns the copyright

A source told the Sun: ‘They have had death threats, which has petrified them.

‘They were on a night out after lockdown and obviously flattered someone like Wayne wanted to spend time with them.

‘But they didn’t do anything wrong and don’t deserve the horrible response.’

Rooney, a married father-of-four, paid a ‘nominal’ £1 fee to Brooke Morgan, Elise Melvin, both 21, and their pal Eleanor Hoggarth, who ‘volunteered to hand over all pictures’ so that he owns the copyright on the images.

They included showing him passed out in a chair as the friends mucked around in their underwear in their £60-a-night room in Manchester.

One flashed her bottom next to the former Manchester United striker and then posted it online, captioning it ‘Mooney Rooney’.

In the aftermath, international star Rooney alleged to police he was blackmailed over the images of him with three 21-year-old women while fully-clothed and slumped in a chair.

Miss Morgan, Miss Melvin and Miss Hoggarth approached Rooney’s lawyer, his spokesman said.

However, Snapchat model Tayler Ryan, 21, who appears in most of the pictures, was not among the girls who apologised to Rooney and is believed to have retained the copyright on her hotel room selfies with the footballer.

It then emerged last week that Rooney ordered two girls out of their hotel room during his drunken night out to stop them filming him.

Fresh footage showed the two woman sat on a bed laughing as they tell how the footballer banned them from entering with their phones.

A third woman believed to be with the girls is not in view at the time.

It was also revealed that one of the party girls did not know his name and kept on calling him Clooney.
