A rap song inspired by the “Let’s Go Brandon” meme currently tops the Apple iTunes hip hop charts which samples the iconic viral video and the “F*** Joe Biden” chant. The chant is often heard at sports games and other events and became a meme after a US reporter mistakenly thought the chant was saying “Let’s Go Brandon” during an interview with NASCAR driver Brandon Brown. The song, produced by Loza Alexander, initially went viral on TikTok but quickly rose up the music charts with an extended version of the song being created according to the rapper.

The “Let’s Go Brandon” meme was born when NBC sports reporter Kelli Stavast spoke with Brandon Brown after he secured victory at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway on October 2.

The ecstatic NASCAR driver delivered his interview with Ms Stavast, wrongly, stating the crowd was chanting his name.

However, fans were shouting “F*** Joe Biden” which was quickly made apparent when the microphone was directed their way.

Ms Stavast attempted to move on from the unfortunate gaffe but the clips went viral.

Conservative figures quickly adopted the meme and use the “Brandon” line to get around media censorship while getting their point across.

NASCAR’s Twitter account had shared the interview but deleted it soon after.

Loza Alexander produced the song and published it on TikTok where it quickly went viral.

The rapper then created a music video to go with the song and published it over a week ago on his YouTube page.

Since then, it has been watched 1.5 million times.

In his rap segment, Mr Alexander includes the lines: “Tried to cover up, but tell the people, go Brandon.

“But we know what they saying, though.

“You can hear thе chant in every post. Don’t nobody want this commie causе we not in China.”

On his Twitter account, Mr Alexander claims he has been subject to threats by TikTok who want to remove the original video as it breaks their terms on harassment and bullying.
