Fears grow for missing 14-year-old boy from Kingston as cops issue urgent appeal

POLICE say they are "really concerned" about a 14-year-old boy who has gone missing from his home in south west London.

Luan Furtado left his home in Kingston-upon-Thames at 5pm on Sunday but hasn't returned.

Officers said the disappearance ins "out of character" and urged people to call 999 if they see the schoolboy.

Posting an appeal on Facebook, Kingston Police said: "We are really concerned about Luan Furtado, aged 14 who left home at 5pm yesterday and hasn't returned.

"This is really out of character – if you spot him please call us on 999 straight away.

"Luan is 14 years old, slim build has a black spiky afro and is clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

"Luan attends Southborough High School and was last seen yesterday in Chessington."
