GARETH Southgate has been immortalised in ice cream after being named the 'Coolest Brit'.
The England gaffer's portrait was made entirely out of cones, sauces, hundreds and thousands, wafers, and chocolate flakes.
Artist Nathan Wyburn used around 100 cones, 50 scoops of ice-cream, 3kg of raspberry, chocolate and caramel sauce, 1kg of hundreds and thousands, 75 chocolate flakes and 250 wafers.
Some 30 per cent of Brits say Southgate, 50, is the coolest Brit, a FoodHub poll suggests.
He was followed by Three Lions stars Marcus Rashford, 23, with 18 per cent, and Bukayo Saka, 19, on 13 per cent.
The Queen, actor Daniel Craig, 53, and radio host Maya Jama, 26, all made the top 10 list.
Nathan said: “What Gareth Southgate and his team have done this year – to get to England’s first final since 1966 – was an incredible achievement that really resonated with the nation, especially after such a difficult 16 months of lockdown.
