A heavy goods vehicle driver has died after a crash which also involved three British Army trucks on the A38 in Derbyshire.
Traffic officers are seeking dashcam footage after the collision, which occurred on the northbound stretch of the road close to Mickleover, Derby, at about 1.45pm on Wednesday.
The lorry driver, a 53-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Derbyshire Constabulary said: ‘His family are aware, and our thoughts are with them at this time.
‘Detectives investigating the incident are appealing for any drivers with dashcam footage, in particular of the moments leading up to the incident, to get in touch.’
It is not currently known whether the HGV driver or any of the drivers of the three Army trucks were delivering fuel at the time.
