Inside creepy abandoned funeral home filled with ‘evil spirits’ and something even more shocking | The Sun

A SPOOKY video revealing an abandoned funeral home has gone viral on TikTok, and viewers were shocked at what was discovered inside.

TikTok user "Places Forgotten" has one million followers on the social media platform, and has amassed almost eight million likes across his videos which explore creepy abandoned buildings.

One of his videos has garnered a lot of attention, due to its gruesome discovery.

Neighbours of the funeral home apparently warned the TikToker not to enter the building:

He said in the video: "They warned me not to enter, saying it was filled with 'espiritos malignos', which means evil spirits."

At first, the video shows an empty funeral hall, with rows of chairs set out, covered in cobwebs and black mould.

The video took a dark turn, however, when nearly 30 boxes of cremated human remains were discovered in a dusty corner.

Viewers of the video were upset by the discovery.

One user said: "The remains left behind aren't his (the owners) fault that family's never came to collect their loved ones!"

And a funeral director commented that the sight of unclaimed remains isn't uncommon in funeral homes:

She said: "There are so many unclaimed cremated remains. As far as 60 years for us.

"We prefer to hold on for as long as possible to ensure all families have been contacted. if they ask us to scatter we will."

According to Places Forgotten, the owner of the facility was apparently found dead on the floor of the reception hall with "no obvious cause of death", and the building has been abandoned since.

The video goes further to show the autopsy room, with a rolling table, mannequin head and embalming chemicals on the surrounding shelves.

A black hearse was filmed with a thick layer of dust, along with other vintage black cars.

The video added: "Everything had been abandoned since, even the keys to the luxury cars."

If a body is left unclaimed at a funeral facility for more than a month, they are traditionally cremated and kept until a family member collects them.

Otherwise, the remains are either buried or stored.
