ITV bosses want to sign Matt Hancock to star in more of their programmes following his success on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Chiefs have held discussions about which projects they can hire him for in a bid to stop rivals taking him away.
ITV sources say they are ‘thrilled’ they signed him for the jungle because he turned into an unexpected ratings winner.
One told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Matt did the unthinkable and won over the viewers. He was the talk of the UK for almost three weeks and ITV are keen to capitalise on that.

He also had a very unexpected appeal to younger viewers… something that ITV bosses are particularly interested in.’
Ideas mooted include a documentary on his campaign for all children to be screened for dyslexia at primary school, as well as presenting roles.
