Lucky EuroMillions winner has three weeks to claim £1million prize as ticket holder fails to come forward

A UK Lottery winner has less than a month left to come forward and claim their £1million EuroMillions prize before their time runs out.

The lucky customer has just over three weeks left to stake their claim for the top prize from the January Euromillions draw.

National Lottery chiefs say that no one has come forward to claim the life-changing amount which was won on January 15.

The winning ticket was bought in Sefton, with players being urged to double check their slips as the countdown commences.

The lucky punter scooped a UK Millionaire Maker jackpot, and has until July 14 to get their hands on their winnings.

For each winning ticket there is a six-month deadline to claim the jackpot, with the money being given to a good-causes fund if it is never claimed.

The winning number for the mega payout was MNGF22971.

Lottery players should check their tickets at national-lottery.co.uk or by downloading the National Lottery app.
