Man dead after jumping in front of Brooklyn subway train, NYPD says

A man was killed when he jumped in front of a Brooklyn train early Monday, cops said.

The unidentified victim, who cops described as possibly homeless, leaped into the path of an oncoming L train at Sutter Avenue in Brownsville around 6 a.m., police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Canarsie-Rockway Parkway-bound L trains have since resumed making normal stops, with some residual delays, according to the MTA.
