A man has been arrested after he allegedly kidnapped, raped, impregnated and then attempted to run over a 13-year-old girl.

Eduardo G. Rubio, 26, was arrested in North Carolina last week, and was charged with with one count each of statutory rape, attempted first-degree murder, attempted murder of an unborn child, and first-degree kidnapping, as well as three counts of assault by strangulation,

The Fayetteville Observer, who managed to get hold of court documents, said that police who had been searching for the missing girl went to Rubio’s home, but during the search, someone reportedly called the Fayetteville police and said that the missing girl was at a different apartment.

The girl was found, and she was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Centre, where she was treated for injuries to her neck, face, shoulders, arms, and knees.

It was while she was in hospital, that she told doctors that she had been “sexually assaulted” by the man for the the last two years.

Having performed an exam on her, they found that the girls was around four-and-a-half moths pregnant, which she allegedly was aware of.

She then claimed that Rubio shockingly tried to run over her once he found out about the pregnancy.
