TENSIONS erupted on Friday at March for Life in Washington, DC, as a woman was seen getting handcuffed after apparently trying to confront the Patriot Front group.
Dramatic photos taken for The US Sun showed a woman getting handcuffed alongside the march.
Journalist Oliya Scootercaster tweeted of the scene: "Woman in Trump hat tried to cross police line and approach Patriot Front.
"Police stopped the woman, she ended up on the ground. She was then placed in handcuffs."
Just feet away from where police were arresting the unidentified woman, Patriot Front members were seen chanting and holding up a large sign reading: "Strong Families Make Strong Nations."
NPR politics correspondent Danielle Kurtzleben was also at the march and witnessed a clash at the "front March for Life between Patriot Front and counter-protesters."
Kurtzleben explained in a tweet that the Patriot Front group, which consisted of approximately one or two dozen members, were chanting next to the mall.
She said police were keeping the Patriot Front and counterprotesters separated from the March.

10Protesters against abortion took to the streets of Washington, DC, and across the country on Friday for the yearly March for Life.
The annual celebration was filled with a growing sense of optimism that their goal was finally reachable – a rollback of abortion rights in the United States, The Associated Press reports.
Supporters took part in the March for Life and walked to the Supreme Court, which has indicated that the 1973 Roe v Wade ruling could possibly be overturned.
Jordan Moorman of Cincinnati said: "It doesn’t feel real.
"There’s so much hope and vibrancy and happiness and joy at this thing. I really do believe that we’re in a post-Roe generation."
As thousands gathered in DC for the 49th annual March for Life protest, temperatures were around 20 degrees Fahrenheit, NPR reports.
The march took place just one day before the anniversary of the Roe v Wade ruling that took place on January 22, 1973.
March for Life President Jeanne Mancini said: "We are hoping and praying that this year, 2022, will bring us historic change for life. Roe is not settled law."
TENSIONS IN CHICAGO
Friday's march comes just weeks after tensions erupted in Chicago as members of the far-right Patriot Front group "hijacked" an anti-abortion event.
Footage captured hundreds of anti-abortion rights activists gathering at Federal Plaza for the annual March For Life.
Photographer Alex Kent captured dramatic footage of a March for Life Rally supporter standing in front of Patriot Front members and appearing to scold them.
After saying, "I'm a conservative. You guys are an embarrassment to conservatives," the man supporting the March for Life Rally yelled at the Patriot Front group.
He spoke angrily at the far-right hate group as they were marching towards him with shields, American flags, a large banner, and red, white, and blue-themed attire.
The upset man said: "No, you're not a part of this march. Yeah, you're not a part of this. Put down your bullhorn!
"Oh yeah, I'm the bad guy. Put down the cowboy hat, you're an embarrassment to cowboys."
Prior to being confronted by the March for Life rally-goer, the far-right group marched alongside the rally.
The Patriot Front group was heading chanting "life, liberty, and victory" as they marched.
According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Patriot Front "is a white supremacist group whose members maintain that their ancestors conquered America and bequeathed it to them alone."
It adds: "They define themselves as American fascists or American nationalists who are focused on preserving America’s identity as a European-American identity."
