Meghan Markle has been branded 'creepy' for following the fashion legacy of Princess Diana – but the Duchess of Cambridge was said to be 'honouring' her deceased mother-in-law by doing almost the exact same thing.
The Duchess of Sussex seems to be constantly in comparison to Kate Middleton – with hypocrisy following the former Suits actress everywhere.
On a recent post in a royalist Facebook group, the Duchess of Sussex was branded 'creepy' as images compared her style to her husband's mother, the Princess of Wales.
One commenter said: "Isn't it weird to dress like his mother?"
"Disturbing!!! Clearly unbalanced. Not surprising Harry wanted to distance her from his beloved family," another wrote.
Others simply wrote: "So creepy."
However, some people came to Meghan's defence, saying: "You can find multiple pics of Kate in similar outfits to Diana too, it does not mean they are trying to be like her."
Another added: "There’s nothing wrong in admiring someone’s sense of style, it happens every day all over the world."

"She looks beautiful and is obviously making an effort. I’m sure Princess Diana would accept her and just want Harry to be happy," another wrote.
Even some who aren't her biggest fans said: "I'm not a Meghan fan, but I can see where there are double standards."
These Markle fans were met with replies comparing the wives of Prince Harry and Prince William while praising Kate for doing what they believe is 'disturbing' behaviour from Meghan.

Another said: "Kate is more royal than Megan."
