Model victim of scheming nurse who posed as male doctor to get nude snaps relives horror ordeal

A MODEL conned by a nurse who tricked women into sending nude photos has said she has "no words to describe" her ordeal.

Abbie Draper was targeted by perv Adele Rennie, 27, who was treating her sick granddad in hospital.

The medic, who worked at Crosshouse Hospital near Kilmarnock in Scotland, posed as a male doctor using a voice changing app.

She spotted ex-Miss Scotland finalist Abbie when she visited stroke victim John Draper, 80, and sent her Facebook messages from a fake profile.

Posing as hunky alias Dr David Graham, Rennie even said she wanted to hire Abbie to dance at an NHS charity ball.

Speaking on ITV's Loose Women today, Abbie, 27, said: "'He' asked about payment and everything and I basically said I would do it for free."

But she luckily figured out she was being fooled by the nurse before she could fall victim to the nudes scam — which fooled up to 20 women into sending intimate snaps.

Abbie added: "My story's very different to a lot of other women's, but my granddad was very heavily involved.

"When I found out who she was, I said, 'She works on the ward, she's looking after my granddad'.

"I have no words to describe what she did. I had to move my granddad out of the actual hospital as well."

Rennie pleaded guilty in November to 18 separate offences over her scam between 2012 and 2017 after targeting women through dating sites and social media.

Abbie earlier told The Sun of her experience with "unhinged" Rennie, revealing that she would follow her family.

She said: “Adele ended up in the same places as my mum and the only way she could have known where she was going was by listening to her conversations at my granddad’s bed.

“She would pop up at the gym, supermarket, following her down the aisle — it was all just so creepy."

Salesman Craig Dunn had his photos stolen by Rennie to use in the fake doctor profile.

The 27-year-old told the Loose Women panel: "Initially I had a phone call from the police and I thought it was a wind up so I put the phone down.

"They rang me back five minutes later to say look Craig, you're involved here in a catfish case, it's quite severe.

"A couple of days later they came to my house and showed me profile pictures, profiles that she's created. Basically, whatever I posted she copied.

"It's not a nice thing to be linked with, obviously she had been doing it for quite some time."

But Craig, from Sunderland, said that sick Rennie "needed help".

He added: "I don't know what this woman is capable of.

"I said it before, I told the police, I could have gone on a night out in Glasgow and I could have bumped into any of the 18 victims and anything could have happened."

Rennie was caged for 22 months in December for her sick five-year hoax.

Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane slammed her "incredibly strange and abusive behaviour".

She said: “I’ve no idea why someone from a good family, job and education would throw it all away inexplicably.

“This was planned with astonishing precision in a cold, calculated manner.

“This caused harm and humiliation to multiple victims, who did not deserve this.”
