A MUM brandished a knife at her neighbour after becoming "fixated" with the idea she was running a secret brothel.
Fatoumata Minty, 35, threatened to kill the woman in her front garden at the climax of a long-running feud.
A court heard how the pair lived next to each other in Small Heath, Birmingham.
It was said mum Minty regularly caused disruption, and, in April, she received a conditional caution for threatening behaviour.
Months later, the victim returned home and noticed there was a TV and broken plant pot on her doorstep.
She suspected the items had been left there by Minty so rushed into her house "rather quickly".

Dylan Wagg, prosecuting, said: "She heard the defendant's front door slam and heard her say: 'I am going to kill you.'
"She turned around and saw the defendant in close proximity, about a metre away, holding a kitchen knife.
"She believed the threat to be real and called the police."
Birmingham Crown Court was told that the victim could still hear Minty shouting threats and banging on her walls until cops arrived.

Officers forced entry to the defendant's home and found her on her bed, Mr Wagg said.
Minty later told officers she was either going to kill the victim or herself and made "aspersions" about her neighbour's character.
In a statement, the victim said she feared being attacked by Minty and that she would do her serious harm.
Passing sentence, Judge Sarah Buckingham told Minty: "You came up to her front door and brandished that knife.
"She was so terrified she retreated into her home."
She described Minty as having a "fixation" with the idea that her neighbour had been having an affair with her ex-partner and that she was "running a brothel".
The judge said the claims appeared delusional, but there was no justification for her actions even if true.
Minty admitted making a threat to kill and possessing a blade and was sentenced to two years, suspended for two years.
She was also ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work.
