A pensioner has been found dead on a bus after horrified passengers who thought he was asleep saw him fall from his seat at a roundabout.
Eyewitnesses believed the man was sleeping on board the Glasgow-bound Citylink service from Edinburgh before he fell from his seat at a roundabout.
Passengers then discovered the man was dead and alerted the driver.
‘The guy fell off his seat at a roundabout and that’s when people realised something was wrong as they thought he had just been sleeping,’ an eyewitness said.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at the Swinton Roundabout in Baillieston, in the east end of the city, on Monday afternoon.
A 69-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland is not treating the death as suspicious.

A spokesperson for the national police force said: ‘Police were made aware of a 69-year-old man having taken unwell on a bus at the Swinton Roundabout, Baillieston, Glasgow, around 4.45pm on Monday, 17 October, 2022.
‘Emergency services attended, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
‘The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.’
