Police are investigating the death of a woman in Perth’s CBD early on Thursday morning.
Police and paramedics from St John Ambulance were called to Wellington Street, near Pier Street, just before 3am.
The paramedics provided first aid to the woman, but she was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said a man was currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Several roads around the incident have been closed, and the public has been asked to avoid the area if possible. The Main Roads website can provide up-to-date information on any updates.
