Pooler shooting: Gunfire erupts near Air Force recruitment building in Georgia with reports of 'one shot'

GUNFIRE erupted near an Air Force recruitment building with reports of one person that has allegedly been shot.

The incident took place at around 1.15pm local time, and it is unclear whether the scene is still active.

Cops are asking people to avoid the area as police vehicles and fire trucks rush to the scene.

The vehicles were parked directly in front of the Air Force and Air Force Reserve recruitment office.

It is unclear if the shooting is tied to the center and if it took place inside of the building.
