Floating restaurants will soon make a splash in the Big Apple.

Five world-famous chefs will serve up dishes on a “stylish” restaurant barge in the East River for five days this September, according to the firms behind it.

The 225-foot-long “pop-up” party boat will make waves by dishing out special menus from the James Beard-award winning Israeli restaurant Philadephia’s Zahav and other popular eateries, organizers told Architectural Digest.

The event, dubbed Platinum Coast, offers a nautical alternative to the make-shift restaurant structures built to encourage outdoor dining in New York City amid the coronavirus pandemic — some of which have become over-the-top neighborhood nuisances.

Floating foodies can also sink their teeth into grub from “Top Chef” judge and James Beard award winner Kwame Onwuachi, Nancy Silverton of L.A.-based Osteria Mozza, Girl & the Goat’s Stephanie Izard, and Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, the owners of Jon & Vinny’s Italian restaurant.

“Platinum Coast is unlike any event we have produced before. It is by far the largest and most logistically complicated, but that’s also what makes it so exciting,” said Vanessa Leitman of Resy, which is teaming up with American Express on the barge.

The event will be held Sept 17-21 and is open to qualified AmEx members who buy a Global Dining Access-eligible card.
