Meanwhile,Prince Andrewâs former love interest Lady Victoria Hervey has claimed Harry and Meghan's marriage won't work as they "rushed in".
The British socialite, 44, says the courtship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was âway too shortâ, and predicted Meghan, 39, would end up âwanting to be in America.
Harry and Meghan are believed to have met on a blind date in July 2016, according to the biography Finding Freedom.Â
They became engaged in August 2017 – before officially announcing the news three months later in November, and then married in May, 2018.
Lady Victoria, who is the daughter of the 6th Marquess of Bristol, said to Closer magazine: âI think Harry and Meghan's courtship was way too short. I just don't see it lasting.
âI remember just before their wedding, I thought, âThey'll get married, have a few kids… And she will end up wanting to be in Americaâ.â
Finding Freedom also claims that Prince William advised Harry to âtake as much time as you need to get to know this girlâ – which Harry took offence to.
She also said she found the coupleâs bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey âdistastefulâ, due to it taking place when the late Prince Philip, who died in April aged 99, was ill in hospital.Â
Lady Victoria added: âThe way it was done, with Prince Philip in the hospital, literally about to die. I thought it was pretty unreal.â
