The Queen continues to reign over the Royal Family and the hearts of the public as she is voted the most popular royal, according to a poll.
Her Majesty’s popularity continues as just under half of Brits voted her number one on her Platinum Jubilee year, despite competition from Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Despite a hugely difficult time for the Royal Family with tensions with the Sussexes and Prince Andrew’s settlement, the public’s opinion on certain royals seems unaffected.
Kate and William came in second and third respectively with both above 30% of the voting, which was conducted by market research specialists Ipsos Mori.
They were then followed by any of the Queen’s great grandchildren before a surprising Princess Anne took fifth place.
Further results found Prince Charles in sixth with Prince Harry one percent behind his father in the rankings.
Sitting at the bottom of the pile was Prince Andrew following the recent allegations, all of which he has consistently denied, made against him by Virginia Giuffre.

The public were also asked if they think the monarchy should be abolished but almost half of Brits thought the country would be worse off if that happened.
Gideon Skinner, Head of Political Research at Ipsos in the UK, said: “There is no denying that the Royal Family has had a turbulent few years, but public opinion still contains more supporters than critics of the institution.
“In the run up to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Queen Elizabeth II remains the most popular member of the Royal Family, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also cementing their position.”

Following the recent announcement by the Queen that Camilla would become Queen Consort when Charles becomes king, 54% of those asked were in favour of the move.
Mr Skinner added: “After the announcement that the Duchess of Cornwall will become Queen Consort once Prince Charles ascends the throne, this is supported by 4 in 10 Britons (although not everyone has a strong opinion).
“The support she has offered her husband and the Queen are clearly important factors in this, but so is it being the Queen’s wish, which also shows how the British public value their monarch.”
