Relatives of people who died or are still missing in the catastrophic tower collapse in Florida were bused to the site for a private tour and briefing Sunday, reports said.

“It is a private and deeply emotional moment for the families,” said a rep for Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava to CNN.

Cava said earlier in the day, “We are working with the families, and there will be opportunity for visitation.

“It will be a very private event,” the mayor said.

Families were taken in buses from the Grand Beach Hotel, where they have been staying, to the Champlain Tower South Condo site.

As of Sunday afternoon, only nine deaths have been confirmed and more than 150 people remain unaccounted for. But the mayor of Surfside, Charles Burkett, told CNN he is expecting “miracles” to happen and holding out hope more survivors will be found.

“I’m expecting many miracles,” Burkett said. “I think we all believe and expect miracles.”

Burkett said at this point, it isn’t a matter of resources — it’ll come down to “luck.

“We have a full complement of very experienced search and rescue people. We have waves of them going over that rubble pile right now,” the mayor said.

“We’ve got every resource that we could ever want.

“We just need some luck.”

Burkett said he has read about people who managed to survive under rubble for up to 17 days and is optimistic he’ll see a miracle like that in Surfside.

Families of the unaccounted-for residents have continued to receive briefings twice a day on the situation, including “one this morning that was pretty emotional,” said Burkett.

“It’s not going to stop until we pull everybody out,” he said of rescue efforts.
