Report reveals sordid assault accusations against MLBs Trevor Bauer

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer allegedly choked a woman unconscious, punched her in the head and sodomized her without consent, according to disturbing new details of the assault accusations against the ace hurler.

The 27-year-old victim outlined the unsavory details of consensual sex that allegedly turned violent and left her with black eyes and scratches, The Athletic reported on Wednesday, citing her request for a temporary restraining order.

Photos included with the request show the woman bruised and battered, according to the report.

Bauer said through his agent on Tuesday the pair had consensual, rough sex after TMZ was first to report on the restraining order and a Pasadena police probe into the allegations.

The accuser, who met Bauer on Instagram, claimed the assault happened in two encounters in April and May. In the first, the pair had sex after she drove from San Diego to LA to meet him – but then he wrapped her hair around her neck until she blacked out, she alleged.

“I agreed to have consensual sex; however, I did not agree or consent to what he did next,” the woman said, according to The Athletic. “I did not agree to be sexually assaulted.”

When she woke up an unknown amount of time later, she said he was sodomizing her, the report said, citing her declaration. The next morning, she said he asked if she was sore in a teasing manner and she responded she didn’t enjoy it, the report stated.

She claimed when she met him again that he once again choked her until she lost consciousness. When she came to, she reportedly claimed Bauer punched her multiple times in the head, according to the report.

“After punching me several times, he then flipped me back onto my stomach and began choking me with hair,” she said, according to The Athletic. “I lost consciousness again.”

When she later was found to be shaking and crying, he tried to calm her and told her she was safe, she reportedly said in her declaration.

After the second and final encounter, the woman sought medical attention that included an emergency room visit, she said, according to the report. She was diagnosed with a head injury and assault by manual strangulation, the report said.

In her request for a restraining order, she said she taped Bauer on the phone at the request of Pasadena Police, The Athletic said. In the alleged recording, she said she asked Bauer what he did while she was unconscious and he said he punched her buttocks to which she replied she didn’t consent to that. Bauer changed the topic, she reportedly claimed in the declaration.

In response to the report, Bauer’s spokespeople pointed to his agent’s previously released statement which called the woman’s basis for the order of protection “fraudulent.”

Agent Jon Fetterolf claims to have messages showing the woman asking for rough sex, including asking to be “choked out” and slapped in the face.

“In both of their encounters, [the woman] drove from San Diego to Mr. Bauer’s residence in Pasadena, Calif. where she went on to dictate what she wanted from him sexually and he did what was asked,” Fetterolf said in a statement.

“Following each of her only two meetings with Mr. Bauer, [the woman] spent the night and left without incident, continuing to message Mr. Bauer with friendly and flirtatious banter.”

The woman shared photos of herself and said she was treated for a concussion after her final encounter with Bauer, the statement said.

“Mr. Bauer responded with concern and confusion, and [the woman] was neither angry nor accusatory,” Bauer’s agent said.

The Dodgers said in a statement that they were made aware of the allegations Tuesday and contacted MLB, which will “be handling this matter.”

“The Dodgers take any allegations of this nature very seriously, but will have no further comment at this time,” the statement said, according to MLB.com.

Bauer is an All-star and Cy Young winner in the first year of a three-year, $102 million contract in LA. He previously played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds.
