A BOY told a court he loved his dad “to bits” but accused him of shooting another parent dead.
Matthew Moseley, 50, allegedly murdered Lee Holt in a bullying row and told son Thomas, 14, to take the blame.
Mr Holt, 32, had turned up at Moseley’s home with his partner Kate Phelan and her son, 15, after the boys had several school fights.
Both Moseley and Thomas were arrested on suspicion of murder in Oswaldtwistle, Lancs, after the teen told police he did it.
But Thomas later said his dad passed him the gun and told him to take the blame as he was too young to “get done”.
Giving evidence via video link, the lad said the victim confronted his father and the “shotgun went off”.

Thomas said he eventually told the truth because “it’s the right thing to do”.
Asked why he initially lied, he replied: “He’s my dad. I love him to bits.”
Moseley denies murder. The Preston crown court trial continues.
