Seven people shot after gunman opens fire into crowd outside bar following argument in Orlando | The Sun

A GUNMAN has shot seven people after opening fire into a large crowd outside of an Orlando bar, following an argument, police say.

Early Sunday morning, at 2.22am, a big fight broke out in downtown Orlando, Florida.

This happened right as all the nightclubs were closing and letting people out, police said.

Someone then pulled out a handgun and started to shoot into the crowd of people.

According to the Orlando Police Department, seven people were shot and injured.

Six of the victims were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

One of the victims, also in stable condition, took themselves to Advent Health, an urgent care center, for treatment.

Police have yet to find the shooter or identify them, but they are hopeful that one of the many witnesses that had been at the scene will reach out with some details.

“We’re still in the preliminary stage of this investigation,” Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith told News6.

“We need the community’s help on this, so please reach out if you have any information,” he said.
