Shock Travis Scott video shows rapper spitting at fan and telling crowd to ‘f*** up' the concertgoer

TRAVIS Scott appears to have spat at a fan and told the crowd to "f*** him up", in shocking newly resurfaced footage.

The rapper eggs on concertgoers, telling them to attack the man after accusing him of trying to steal his shoe.

In the clip – thought to have been taken in July 2015 at Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland – Scott stops his show and repeatedly says: "F*** him up."

He singles out the fan he accuses of trying to steal his shoe, telling the crowd: "Get that motherf***er, get him."

Scott adds: "Come here, b***h. You tried to take my shoe. You want to be a thief."

The fan is pulled out of the crowd by security as others appear to hit him.

Scott then appears to spit on the young man as he encourages the crowd to boo him.

ASTROWORLD TRAGEDY

The footage was widely re-shared on Monday after eight people died during Scott's set at Astroworld in Houston on Friday.

Online, Twitter user commented Scott was able to stop the gig because of his shoe after he faced criticism over his response to the tragedy.

One wrote: "Travis Scott can stop a concert because someone tried to steal his shoe but not when literal people are dying."

Another added: "He literally stopped a whole a** concert because someone took a SHOE.

"He can stop a concert when people are being STOMPED and SUFFOCATED to DEATH."

On Monday it emerged that Scott played for more than 30 minutes after his Astroworld festival was declared a mass casualty incident.

MASS CASUALTY EVENT

Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña said the event was declared a "mass casualty" at 9:38pm.

The New York Times and The Houston Chronicle say Scott was still on stage at 10:15pm. Reuters report 10:10pm.

Scott had briefly stopped the show at 9:42pm, calling for help for a concertgoer who had passed out. He then resumed the show, Insider reports.

Scott's girlfriend Kylie Jenner said they did not know what had happened while her partner performed.

She wrote: "I want to make it clear we weren't aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing."

Scott said he was "absolutely devastated" by events of Friday after eight of his fans died.

CHAOTIC CONCERTS

The Sun revealed on Sunday that the rapper had twice been arrested at his concerts before Saturday’s Astroworld tragedy.

He pleaded guilty to public disorder charges at concerts in 2015 and 2018.

His own Netflix documentary Look Mom I Can Fly shows Scott whipping his fans into a frenzy and urging them to push past security at his shows.

Victims of the tragedy include 21-year-old student Axel Acosta and schoolboy John Hilgert, who was just 14.

Student Franco Patiño, 21, Danish Baig, 27, Brianna Rodriguez, 16, Jacob Jurinek, Madison Dubiski, 23,  and Rudy Peña, 23, are also among the victims.

Scott, Drake, and Astroworld festival organizers Live Nation are reportedly being sued for damages following the fatal tragedy in Texas on Friday.

SCREAMS FOR HELP

TMZ reported on Sunday that civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump is representing victims who are suing Travis Scott and Live Nation following the disaster.

Footage posted online shows fans screaming for help, with one concert-goer yelling: "There is someone dead in there." Other chant: "Stop the Show."

It is not clear if officials could hear those pleas. There have been no arrests in connection with the incident.
