Teen cyclist, 18, dies after being hit by car as two men and woman arrested

A TEEN cyclist has died after being hit by a car on a country road.

The victim, 18, was riding a green Barracuda bicycle when was hit by a black VW Polo.

Two men, 18 and 19, and a woman, 20, were arrested after the collision in Faversham, Kent, in the early hours today.

The victim was seriously injured in the crash and was confirmed dead at the scene.

The serious collision investigation unit (SCIU) has appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.

It has also asked anyone with any dashcam footage to come forward.
