Terrorist who tried to buy gun, missiles, and grenades to shoot down plane starts plumbing firm

A TERRORIST jailed for trying to buy missiles to shoot down planes is now running a plumbing business.

But at least one of Kazi Rahman’s businesses has been branded a “disgrace” in online reviews.

The 44-year-old served half of a nine-year sentence handed out in 2007 after he attempted to buy an Uzi sub-machine gun and ammunition from undercover police.

He also offered £70,000 for a Sam-7 missile and rocket-propelled grenades.

Rahman trained as a plumber and is listed as being involved in at least six South West London companies.

Yet critical comments online have led to one of those businesses, Plumbers in Putney, getting a one-star rating.

A Google review last week read: “Absolute disgrace. Do not use this company. Charged £538 to unblock a toilet and now it’s leaking everywhere.

“It is costing me over £2,500 to repair, it is an utter disgrace.”

Another reviewer, whose tenant was allegedly charged £900 to fix a leaking pipe that carried on leaking, claimed: “It is a scam company.

"Try to keep away as far as possible.”

A third angry customer branded it a “cowboy operation”.

Rahman said he ran the business but did not do repairs, insisting negative reviews were “fake”.
