THIS is the chilling moment a thug snarled "you're going to die in my hands" to his girlfriend as he throttled her.
Christopher Forrest carried out a string of horrific assaults against the 33-year-old during a three-year reign of terror.
The 40-year-old grabbed her by the hair and shoved her against a wall with his hand around her throat.
Forrest also snapped a windscreen wiper after forcing the woman against the rear of a car.
The hulking thug was secretly caught on a dog-watching camera at their home in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, lunging at the petite victim.
He yelled "I don't care if I go to jail, you are going to die in my hands you wee cow" as he throttled her.

Further footage showed how Forrest would regularly erupt into violence – shoving the woman into the room and pushing her to the ground.

- Always keep your phone nearby.
- Get in touch with charities for help, including the Women’s Aid live chat helpline and services such as SupportLine.
- If you are in danger, call 999.
- Familiarise yourself with the Silent Solution, reporting abuse without speaking down the phone, instead dialing “55”.
- Always keep some money on you, including change for a pay phone or bus fare.
- If you suspect your partner is about to attack you, try to go to a lower-risk area of the house – for example, where there is a way out and access to a telephone.
- Avoid the kitchen and garage, where there are likely to be knives or other weapons. Avoid rooms where you might become trapped, such as the bathroom, or where you might be shut into a cupboard or other small space.
