Abby Hornacek stated that unidentified flying objects must be taken seriously as they could pose a threat to national security. She outlined that UFOs have entered restricted air space in the USA as well as flying near military bases and nuclear weapon facilities.

Ms Hornacek said: “Anytime we talk about UFOs people automatically assume that you are talking about aliens and it may be that as this technology really blows anything out of the water that we have ever seen.

“But also we have to take it seriously as a national security threat.

“These UFOs are entering our restricted air spaces, particularly around military bases nuclear weapon facilities.

“So if that is happening, we really have to pay attention to this.”

Former US Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama have both spoken about UFOs in the past.

Mr Trump ordered the Department of Defence to publish all findings on “unidentified aerial phenomena” in his December coronavirus relief bill.

The Pentagon is set to hand its findings to Congress in June.

Mr Trump stated during the first episode of US conservative Dan Bongino’s radio show: “I’m a believer in what you see, but there are a lot of people out there who are into that.

UFOs 'need to be discussed' says Jeremy Corbell

“I get that so much: ‘is it true, sir?’

“I’m not such a believer, but some people are, so I don’t want to hurt their dreams or their fears.

“It could be fears more than dreams.”

Former US President Barack Obama discussed UFO during an appearance on the Late Late Show, hosted by James Corden.

DON’T MISS

Mr Obama said: “What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there are, there’s footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don’t know exactly what they are.

“We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory.

“They did not have an easily explainable pattern.

“And so, you know, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”
