An Amazon driver has left social media users in hysterics after he was seen brazenly walking into a police standoff situation to deliver a package.

In the video, which has gained more than 1.1million likes, the bloke was seen walking through a street that was riddled with police cars, donning an Amazon uniform and holding a box in his hand.

The Raleigh Police Department in North Carolina, US, were seen in the background locked in a standoff with a bloke in the residential area as the delivery driver walked up to complete his drop-off.

But one of the officers stopped him before he walked straight into the danger zone and took the parcel for him.

The actions of the delivery driver have been praised by people online as he deserves a reward for being so devoted to his job.

One user said: "Someone's going for Employee of the Month."

Another added: "Now that’s what you call AMAZON PRIME"

A third commented: “Delivered to police officer near front door.”

"Amazon should put that in advertisement. “Nothing will stop us from delivering and I mean NOTHING.”," a fourth insisted.

Others even said they aspire to be as "unbothered" as he is, with one user writing: "I’m going into next week with this level of unbothered. He’s my new role model."

A second said: "If minding my business was a person."

Another penned: "I’d deliver it too but mostly cause I’m nosey."

Raleigh Police Department and Amazon have been approached by the Daily Star for a comment on the incident.

The news comes after a viral video captured the moment police donning riot gear arrested a wanted man while he was using the toilet at a 7-Eleven in Colorado, United States.

In a selection of clips, which have garnered more than 15million views, the bloke who posts online as “The insurrectionist” recorded police as they urged him to surrender.

The bloke had been quite literally caught with his pants down as he was sitting on the toilet taking a dump at the time.
