Wife of Capitol siege Proud Boy arrested by Feds in armored truck wants DIVORCE and brands him a ‘radical idiot’

THE wife of a so-called 'Proud Boy' arrested over the Capitol riots wants to divorce him insisting he's a “radical idiot”.

Eduard Florea, 40, from Queens, New York, who allegedly made online threats tied to the violence in Washington, was dramatically arrested by the FBI this week.

The 40-year-old software engineer allegedly posted about sending an armed caravan to the Capitol and also allegedly threatened the life of senator-elect Raphael Warnock hours before the January 6 riots began.

He didn’t attend the riots in DC, however Joni said her husband ‘’really wanted to go’’, and even bought an Army hat for the occasion.

Joni told The New York Post: “Just hearing some of the details… is the reason why I’m divorcing him.”

Over the last four years, Eduard has become a “radical idiot” in regard to his politics and has been fighting with Jonis mom, a liberal who “hates Trump.”

Eduard was arrested on Tuesday on a federal weapons charge, and his spouse of six years said he was always been an angry man and that ‘’he plotted to do this.’’

She said: “The only thing I was concerned about were my children, Eduard only cared about the Proud Boys.”

The "Proud Boy" was arrested in "shocking" scenes outside his New York home on Tuesday afternoon.

“It was nuts. A tank was going down the street. I couldn’t believe it, especially in a quiet neighborhood like this,” one neighbor told NY Daily News.

Another resident who also witnessed the arrest described the incident as shocking.

“That shocked the heck out of me,” she said, according to the news outlet.

“I came outside out of the basement (to see what was going on). An FBI guy yelled at me to get inside.''

Shocked neighbors snapped photographs of the arrest, which saw an armored FBI vehicle – with an armed agent on top – roll down 76th Street near Eliot Avenue as part of the operation to take Florea into custody.

“I told him, ‘if you f–ing go don’t you dare to come back to my house,” Joni said.

“We were fighting like crazy and I think the only thing that stopped him was that that ride never came.”

The FBI took Eduard into custody seizing over 1,000 rounds of rifle ammunition, two dozen shotgun rounds and approximately 75 military-style combat knives, two hatches and two swords from the home.

“He was like angry and upset and definitely being brainwashed by the right-wing media.” his wife said.

According to law enforcement sources, records show the man has threatened to kill others in the past and had been convicted on a weapons charge in Staten Island in 2014, the Daily News reported on Wednesday.

He was sentenced to a year behind bars on that charge after police found more than two dozen weapons in his possession, a senior law enforcement official said.

The Proud Boys is an alt-right organization that was launched in New York City in 2016 and has been classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
