A woman has died following a devastating fire in her home in north Wales, prompting a police investigation.
The woman, in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene on Moor Lane in Holywell, Flintshire following the fatal blaze in the early hours of Sunday (June 20) morning.

North Wales Police have confirmed that she was the only occupant at the address, and that they are now opening a joint investigation with the fire service.
A spokesman said: ‘A joint investigation between North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police is now under way to establish what happened.
‘Our thoughts remain with the woman’s family at this difficult time.’
