The Like A Boss actress clearly has good genes, but she’s also pretty diligent about taking care of her skin.

Salma told Glamour in 2015 that she gets a lot of her skincare tips from her grandmother. Okay, so how does she end up looking like that in her mid-50s? The Roads Not Taken star’s skincare routine is simpler than you’d think.

For starters, she doesn’t wash her face in the morning. “My grandmother taught me that at night, your skin replenishes all the things you lost during the day. Also, if I cleanse very well at night, why would it be dirty when I wake up?” she told The New York Times.

So, Salma just spritzes some rose water on her face in the AM to help wake up her skin. From there, she’ll use a “a mix of serums and oils depending on my skin that day,” she told the Times. That includes an oil from her skincare line, Nuance, along with Biologique Recherche Grand Millésime and Sérum Précieux by Anne Semonin.

At night, the former Oscar nominee told Glamour that she likes to remove her makeup using coconut oil and then use a mask. You won’t find her exfoliating, though. “Exfoliating a lot may make you look good in the short term, but not, I think, in the long term,” she told the Times.

Pass the rose water.
