Adele fans in hysterics as she shows off Celine Dion gum framed in Vogue clip

Adele left fans amused as she showed off gum once chewed by Celine Dion, which she has framed in her Los Angeles home.

Speaking to Vogue, the singer was buzzing as she presented the gum – encased in a black frame – to the camera, as she explained it was gifted to her by The Late, Late Show presenter, James Corden.

“He’s a friend of mine and also does Carpool Karaoke, which I did,” Adele said.

“He did it with [Celine] and knew how much of a fan of hers I was and so he made her spit her gum into a piece of paper and he framed it for me!"

“It’s my proudest possession!” she added.

The 33-year-old released Easy On Me – her first single in six years – on 15 October, along with a music video that is set to reach a record-breaking 1 billion views after one week.

To celebrate her return to music, the Tottenham-born singer kindly invited Vogue into her house in LA for this latest video interview, to the delight of fans.

Adele has resided in the mansion for some time, as she raises her son and enjoys a new relationship with sports agent, Rich Paul, who is based in the States.

As Adele walked around her impressive surroundings, the 73 Questions interviewer can be heard praising the singer in the video for the interior of her home which she likened to the feeling of an “English countryside.”

Talk quickly turned to music, as the singer recalled her experience recording her 2012 rendition of Skyfall, the song that accompanied the James Bond film of the same name that year.

“I was heavily pregnant actually when I did the vocal for Skyfall,” Adele revealed.

“It’s the only song that I recorded while I was pregnant with him so my voice was a lot lower and he also hated it when I was singing the high notes – he would sort of kick around inside of me.”

Although she lives Stateside now, Adele’s ties to London remain strong. This was evident in the video clip as she recalled her favourite British food and music.

On a serious note, she also spoke on helping out with residents after the Grenfell Tower fire in London in 2017.

“I just felt like I had to. It was right round the corner from where my house in London is,” she explained of the horrific incident.

“It overtook the UK. We couldn’t believe there was a building like that in the middle of Central London that had burnt down and I wanted be a safe and consistent person for them, which I hope I was.”

The video ran for an extended 18 mins – going past the typical 73 questions that Vogue normally asks of its interviewees – as Adele, who is typically private, was happy to open up.

She is set to do exactly the same on her new album, coming out 19 November, as Adele teased in the clip: “It’s definitely my most personal yet I think.”
