Alex Reid has revealed his fiancée Nikki Manashe has returned home after being rushed to hospital days after she gave birth to their daughter Anastasia Pixie.
The 46 year old shared photos and videos of himself in hospital with Nikki, 36, earlier this week as she waited to hear if she needed surgery for internal bleeding.
But the former MMA fighter has now taken to social media to announce the good news that Nikki's bleeding had reduced and she managed to avoid the op.
Posting to his 53,000 Instagram followers, Katie Price's ex-husband wrote: "I have had so many messages of kindness I thought I would reply here.
"I have both my girls back home from hospital. @ivf_mama_nikki thankfully didn't need surgery, the heavy bleeding is slowing down.
"I've learnt a lot that having a c section comes with risks if you don't rest properly, (you women are amazing what you go through).
"Nikki was doing to much around the home and we have all kept telling her off but she insists on being super mum and doing everything.
"I've officially taken over all house duties and she's on strict bed rest and is on antibiotics. Thanking everyone for your kind messages."
Alex later shared a hilarious image of himself looking shocked as he held up a soiled nappy.
