Britney Spears was allegedly married for a third time a decade ago to her then-fiancé Jason Trawick. Fans have been left convinced of this due after new documents were uncovered for a podcast.

The singer was engaged to her agent Jason in 2011 after they dated for a year.

However, new documents have left the fans convinced they may have secretly married.

When compiling the podcast Toxic: The Britney Spears Story, the hosts reviewed documents related to her conservatorship.

Britney has lived under the court order since 2008 which sees her personal and financial affairs monitored by her conservator.

In this case, this was her father Jamie Spears until he recently stepped down.

The podcast hosts, who are also the campaigners who launched the Free Britney movement, claim they found something unexpected in the court papers they examined.

According to the presenters, one piece of paperwork which was uncovered by the podcast contained a fee for the “dissolution of marriage”

They allege the document filed to a Californian court in October 2012 contained a $9,150 (£6,650) fee for this related to “the conservatee”.

They also claimed Britney once referred to Jason as her husband during a radio interview.

Jamie and Britney began dating in 2010 when they ended their professional relationship.

He was her agent from 2008 until the point they announced their romance.

Jamie then became her co-conservator with her father in 2012.

However, Britney and Jamie then announced their separation in January 2013. has contacted Britney’s reps for comment on the claims.

Britney has previously been married twice before.

Her first marriage was to her childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander in January 2004.

The couple married in Las Vegas but was annulled 55 hours later.

At the time, the petition to the court stated Britney “lacked understanding of her actions.”

The singer’s second marriage was to dancer Kevin Federline when they were engaged in July 2004.

They wed later that year and the couple share two children together.

Britney and Kevin announced their split in November 2006 before this was finalised in July 2007.
