Chlöe Bailey Shares Sultry Cover Of Minnie Riperton’s "Lovin’ You"

Chlöe Bailey, one half of the musical duo Chloe x Halle, recently shared a sultry cover of Minnie Riperton‘s “Lovin’ You.”

“Lovin’ You” was recorded by Riperton for her second studio album Perfect Angel, which dropped in 1974. It was written by Riperton and Richard Rudolph. The song peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“No one else can make me feel/ The colors that you bring/ Stay with me while we grow old/ And we will live each day in the springtime/ ‘Cause lovin’ you/ Has made my life so beautiful/ And every day of my life/ Is filled with lovin’ you,” Chlöe sang over acoustic guitar, wearing a bright purple two-piece set.

“Lovin’ You” is the first cover the singer has posted in 2022 after sharing several covers last year, including Adele‘s “Easy on Me,” The Weeknd‘s “Earned It,” “Leave the Door Open” by Silk Sonic and Rihanna‘s “Love on the Brain.”
