Chrissy Teigen’s Never Have I Ever voiceover role is being recast amid her Courtney Stodden cyberbullying controversy. Variety confirms that Chrissy dropped out of the Netflix show’s second season.

The news comes after Courtney accused Chrissy of cyberbullying them when they were 16 years old. In a May Daily Beast article, they spoke about being the focus of online hate as a teenager. “She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself,” they told the publication. “Things like, ‘I can’t wait for you to die.’”

Chrissy responded to the accusations with an apology shared via Twitter: “I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that…is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

Even though Courtney accepted the apology, they pointed out that they never received a personal apology from Chrissy.

“I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter,” Courtney captioned a May 12 Instagram post. “All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her “wokeness” is a broken record.”

Courtney has since said that they’ve received “overwhelming” support since coming forward about the bullying complaints. Hopefully, this serves as a reminder that bullying is never a good look.
