Friday Night Dinner star Harry Landis has died, aged 90.
The London-born actor and director, most recently known for playing Mr. Morris in the Channel 4 sitcom, passed away on Monday.
His death was announced by his agent at Sharry Clark Artists, who penned on Facebook on Monday: ‘Sad news. Our lovely client Harry Landis has passed to spirit.

‘Harry had an amazing career and gained a new following in later life as Mr Morris in Friday Night Dinner. It was a privilege to have worked with him as a client. ‘
The heartfelt post included: ‘Harry you will be sadly missed. RIP.’
Following his death, Tracy-Ann Oberman, who appeared in Friday Night Dinner between 2011-2020 paid tribute to him on Twitter.

In addition to Tracey, a plethora of fans took to Twitter to share their upset at the passing of the legendary actor.
One penned: ‘RIP Harry Landis. If you haven’t watched Friday Night Dinner, you should do so pronto.
A second shared: ‘R.I.P to the absolute punk rocker Harry Landis. What a lad.’
‘Remembering Harry Landis today who sadly passed away at the age of 91. Mr Morris was a bleeding lunatic,’ shared another.
A fourth penned: ‘RIP Harry Landis, a truly great actor.’

As well as sharing a clip of him, she penned: ‘Bloody loved #HarryLandis. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.’

Harry gained a whole region of new followers thanks to his role as Mr Morris in Friday Night Diner, a role which he played from 2012-2014.
The thespian has also had a starring role A Hill in Korea as a conscript, while he appeared as Felix Kawalski in EastEnders.
