Gemma Atkinson made the confession on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, after a fan detailed her own bridesmaid woes.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who is loved up with pro dancer Gorka Marquez, is expecting a baby boy with him later this year, hence her decision to pull out of other commitments.
She empathised totally with a fan who revealed that she too was pregnant and yet was expected to be a bridesmaid in June, leaving her “overwhelmed” and “feeling like pulling out”.
Gemma reassured her that she wasn’t alone, explaining: “I had to pull out of bridesmaid duties for one of my best friends for the same reason!
“Couldn’t risk waters going in church,” she added mischievously, alongside a tears of laughter emoji.

“I secretly think she’s glad as it’s one less dress to get and she’s so busy, bless her.”
The former glamour model turned fitness influencer concluded: “She should understand 100 percent.”
Gemma previously welcomed daughter Mia into the world in the summer of 2019, and a baby boy will follow this year.
She revealed recently that she and Gorka are keen on a “Spanish element” for their son’s name to incorporate her partner’s heritage.
However, the pair will have opinionated little Mia to contend with, as, much to Gemma’s amusement, she is dead-set on calling him “Barbie”.

On a more serious note, Gemma admitted to feeling nervous after a horror birthing experience the first time around.
Mia had to be delivered via an unexpected emergency C-section and hours later, Gemma began haemorrhaging blood, a complication which she has said almost cost her life.
Admitting to feeling the fear on Instagram, she shared: “Physically, I can do this but mentally, it’s like hitting a wall in a workout.
“I need to just push through,” she recently agonised, following a visit from her midwife, Rachel, with whom she has been doing positive affirmations.
The star confirmed she will be giving birth via the “over-stretched” NHS but will also receive the services of a private midwife.
