Gorillaz Team Up With Thundercat For New Song ‘Cracker Island’

Animated U.K. band Gorillaz have teamed up with Thundercat for a new song “Cracker Island.”

“Cracker Island” marks the animated outfit’s first new music of 2022. The band had debuted the track live in April when they kicked off their world tour in Uruguay. The single is produced by Greg Kurstin, Gorillaz, and Remi Kabaka Jr.

“It’s nice to be back, I’m well into our new tune, it brings back weird and scary memories of stuff that hasn’t happened yet,” said 2-D, the animated band’s “lead singer.”

Gorillaz are currently on tour in Europe and will kick off their North American leg on September 11 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver and conclude on October 23 at the FTX Arena in Miami.
