Kanye West reportedly doesn't say anything negative about his estranged wife Kim Kardashian in a new song, despite previous claims stating otherwise.

The Sun Online had reported that the 44 year old rapper debuted his new track Welcome to my Life, from upcoming album Donda, at a party in Las Vegas over the weekend.

According to the publication, the song includes the line: "Tell the assassins I escaped from Calabasas," comparing his marital home with the 40 year old Skims founder in Los Angeles to prison.

An insider who was at the gathering told them: “It’s a very deep, sad song about Kanye, with him reflecting on his marriage with Kim.

“He talks about the kids and mentions her taking everything," they continued. "After he played this song he paused for like, two minutes, and cried. It was really sombre.”

However, a separate source has since refuted these claims as they told DailyMail.com that Kanye "doesn't say anything negative" about Kim.

OK! has approached Kanye's representatives for further comment.

Kim and Kanye married in 2014 and share four children together, daughters North, eight, and Chicago, three, and sons Saint, five, and two year old Psalm.

However, after seven years of marriage, the couple decided to go their separate ways and Kim filed for divorce in February 2021.

Since then, Kanye has been spotted on numerous occasions with his name flame Russian model Irina Shayk, 35, as the enjoyed a romantic getaway in the French countryside.

Meanwhile Kim has been vocal about the breakdown of their marriage as she told TV host Andy Cohen that it wasn't just one thing that lead them to make the life changing decision.

"I honestly don't think I would even say it here on TV, but it was not like, one specific thing that happened on either part," she said.

Kim continued: "I think it was just a general difference of opinions on a few things that led to this decision. And like, in no way would I want someone to think that I didn't give it my all, or not really try."

The TV personality went on to insist that their four children are their first priority as she knows what it's like to see parents go through a divorce. Kim's own parents Kris Jenner, 65, and the late Robert Kardashian divorced in 1991, when she was just 11 years old.

“There's nothing that I think parents would want more than to see, or even kids want more, than to see their parents together. I grew up and I lived that myself," she said.

Kim, who recently swapped her brunette locks for bleach blonde hair and matching brows, then gushed over her ex as she went on: “I will forever be Kanye's biggest fan.

"He's the father of my kids, Kanye will always be family.”
