After tragically losing his dad Mick, Kirk Norcross has returned to work for his jet washing and drain blockages business KN Jet Services.

The former TOWIE star, who rejected an appearance on The Only Way Is Essex's reunion, shared a selfie on his business Instagram account on Monday 1 February.

The 32 year old appeared to be in good spirits as he took a break from his job to take a picture of himself outside a client's home.

He captioned it: "Feels good to be doing what I enjoy again."

Kirk turned off the comments on the snap, but that didn't stop well-wishers commenting on his other pictures to send their condolences.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the former reality star urged his followers not to post condolence messages on his business page.

"Hi guys! Thank you for all the messages but this is a business page purely for my business! Thank you."

Mick was found dead at his Essex home on 21 January and police confirmed the tragic news.

They said: "We were called to an address in Brentwood Road, Bulphan shortly before 3:15pm on Thursday 21 January.

"Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

The business owner was laid to rest in a small ceremony attended by his close friends and family on 25 February.

His nearest and dearest were able to say their goodbyes, including daughter Hollie, as well as his three sons Kirk, Daniel and Mason.

Taking to his Instagram, 19 year old Mason shared a series of photos of his dad to pay tribute to him after passing.

He wrote: "To my dad today is the day we put you to rest. I am truly lost for words you was my everything I am so grateful for everything you done for all of us you was the best dad a boy could ever ask for ! [sic]

"You was such a strong man there was so many things I wanted to say to you. I didn’t ever think this day would come that I would have to write this."
