Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna’s mother dies aged 93 after stroke

American actress Lisa Rinna’s beloved mother, Lois Rinner, has died.

The 93 year old passed away early on Monday morning, several days after she suffered a stroke.

The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star confirmed the sad news on her social media today with a gorgeous black and white photo of a young Lois on her wedding day.

The 58 year old penned “Heaven has a new angel” on the touching tribute to her late mother.

As Lina’s daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin, who she shares with husband Harry Hamlin, paid tribute to her grandmother in a series of photos through the years.

“My guardian angel for the rest of time” the 20 year old began, “I love you so much my Lolo… you were and will always be much more than a grandma to me.. you were my best friend. My strength. My rock. My everything.”

Both Amelia and Lina included the time 5.05am in their caption, suggesting that Lois passed away at that time on Monday 15 November.

Amelia added that Lois was now reunited with her late husband, Frank Rinna, who died in January 2016.

She penned: "And just like that.. you’re back with Frank.

“I know they’re having a party for you., and you are dancing your way through heaven. You’ll never be gone. ‘I did it my way. ‘Me too.'”

The sad news comes after Lina shared that her mother had a stroke last week.

In the heart-felt post on Instagram, Lina wrote: “I know how much you appreciate and love Lois so I need to tell you that she has a stroke, I am with her now.

“So let’s celebrate her and send her so much love while she transitions.

“I was so conflicted to share this very very sad news with you, but I know you would want to know.”

Alongside the message, Lina shared a video of Lois dancing around the kitchen in a black hoodie with a pink bow tied at the front.

Since then, Lina has shared other videos of her mother dancing in the kitchen calling her “my hero” and asking everyone: “let’s all raise a glass to Lois.”

Later on Monday, Lina shared a quote to summarise her new found grief. It reads: “Grieving takes just as long as it takes… this is a process it may never truly end, but it will always change."

Lois had made several appearances over the years on RHOBH with her daughter, and became a fast fan-favourite with her no-nonsense attitude to life.

This was the second stroke Lois had, as she previously suffered a stroke back in 2013, but was able to recover.
